11:15 am Traditional Worship
This worship service is more formal and follows the traditional order of United Methodist worship. Preaching and worship themes are based on the Revised Common Lectionary. Holy Communion is served the first Sunday of each month. The music is typically from the United Methodist Hymnal or The Faith We Sing and is accompanied by the Chancel Choir and Jim Doering on the organ. Special music is often provided by handbells, a brass ensemble, children’s and youth choirs as well as soloists and instrumentalists. During the service, children are invited to the front of the church for a Children’s Message which is usually shared each Sunday, except for the first Sunday of each month. Infants and toddlers are welcome to enjoy this time with God, but a nursery with trained staff is provided if necessary.
